So i work at a local Walmart super center (sadly) and i am a cashier. Doesn't matter how nice i am, they treat me like absolute dog dookie. If something doesn't go their way they flip out and blame me or call me stupid if a policy sounds stupid to them. Why do people, when they have a bad day, throw it on other people..especially the ones trying to help them. Maybe it's because i live near a lot of rich people wearing their yeezys (most probably fake) and Louis Vuitton, i've seen some Gucci bags too. To conclude, people will treat you like shit even when you are a happy pile of sunshine.

I use to work at Walmart as well. People treated me good because I stocked shelf's and was always around when people needed to know where stuff is lol

Food is much worse man, I've been spit on, cussed out, threatened to be stab by people over messed up food. People do NOT play when it comes to dealing with food.

The problem with people is that they probably get treated like shit at their jobs and probably complain all the time about how shitty their job is... and then go treat an employee at another store just as shitty.

People love to be treated well but they can't treat others well. Customers come into my store (Advanced Auto Parts) in a hurry, looking to cut in front of people, sneaking around the side of the counter waiting for you to step out from behind it to ask you a question while you're trying to do something for another customer; they're inconsiderate. Clients go into stores thinking about themselves (obviously, they're looking for things they personally need) but what I mean is that they have no courtesy and they're inconsiderate, they don't care about the other clients around them or the employees themselves.

I saw a video in Spain where this lady just went on a huge fit against the employee behind the desk because she wanted to make a return and the employee told her to wait her turn. The lady told the employee that "she was beneath her", that in a social standpoint, the enraged lady was "socially superior" to the employee. That's the type of person you just wanna deck right in the mouth, I wouldn't even care if I got laid off.

The point is: people, in general, are shitty. You can't really expect not to run into shitty people anywhere, no matter what your line of work is or where you live. To deal with shitty people at work, I just make sure to bring the manager over to deal with them; at my store, I mostly can't do ANYTHING when it comes to customer complaints and that's how I mostly solve a rowdy customer.
