That's insane, you literally paid a small fraction of what they could sell for.
The person selling must've had no idea what it was worth.

You got a bargain there. You could easily sell it for around $300 or more to the right buyer

Normally I sell console only for $350. Although my consoles are not banned with the nand disk and original KVs just like all my consoles

I have a xenon JTAG also but i was under the impression if you updated it past 7371 it would then lose it Jtag, Also its for sale now. I have no use for it if someone else wants nostalgia as I already got another one of these, and still have 4 RGH"s.

why is this worth more than the 55 he paid for? Whats the difference between a jtag and rgh?

If the xenon Jtag is 7371 can be updated to 17511. But your have to do it correctly in order for it to stay jtagged. You can not jtag it after updated past 7371

Jasper Jtags are very rare and very reliable. He just got lucky he only paid $55 for it I am sure the person who sold it didn't have a clue what he had. And just got rid of it cheap.

Rghs Jasper's are a dime a dozen since they can be done on 8955 dashboard to 17511 dashboard. That's why jasper consoles sell a lot cheaper. Also a Rgh takes more time to install and more money to Rgh one being you need a mod chip to do the same thing as the jtag
