So, I have recently built my pc, but my monitor arrived today and the speakers dont seem to be working, I dont know what to do with it, should I of ordered a pair of speakers?
btw, I cannot hear nothing unless I plug my mic in.

What monitor is it? What display adaptor are you using? Some adapters can only carry video and not sound thats all...
You may need an Audio 3.5mm jack from monitor to Audio in on your mobo. Won't know this till I know the monitor model brah

found out the problem bro, turns out the monitor has no speakers what so ever... dont really see the point of them putting no speakers in for the amount that you have to pay for it.

Because the speakers put in monitors aren't even worth using. My monitors have them, but OMG i'd rather have no sound then use em.
