Unfortunately I have never been to the popular ones like IHOP and Dennys however over here in Massachusetts we have a restraunt chain called Phoenix Restraunt and they make the best breakfast, the best coffee and the best chocolate chip pancakes definitely a must go for Mass tourists.

Dennys is good. But their is a locally owned country restaurant that has the best breakfast, lunch and supper.

Personally I am a local diner type of person but franchise wise I have to say my favorite would be Bob Evans or Big Boy.
