Geologist wrote It looks like it's dying, but I feel like us as a community can bring it back to what it used to be or come close to what it used to be.

Its that jtags at the time were pretty pricey, now anyone with a parents credit card can order one, usually everyone has one, never have to come to ttg for a lobby on the older cods anymore since you just hop into a bo2 lobby and see someone "Mods 10$" as their name with flashing ranks.

That's the thing, you can do it for free, but TTG isn't getting promoted like it used to, the people who pay 10$ or so for a lobby never heard of TTG, like back in the day ud see a 10th prestige on mw2 on the earlier days and see ttg as their name, then people would google it and find free lobbies, now people promote themselves.

Been dead for about 2 years now. Became a lot more active when they made bo2 backward compatible now it's just dead again. I only get 1-2 people wanting something now, I never buy kvs or bother getting online now the demand is so low. Unless they make a game such as mw2 BC then it'll keep dying and eventually be completely dead until Xbox One has mods, which isn't really getting anywhere

This is the exact reason I did. Although, I saw people were charging to get their accounts unfrozen/fixed and I just thought tf is up with that so did it free. That got some popularity doing that, was pretty active until October when it really started to die down. It would be great to being it somewhat back to life but it just will not happen. Too many people have an RGH nowadays, most abuse them or are only in it for the money. Going to be a long time until something like it was it brought back to life

Main reason I stopped hosting. Wasn't worth it anymore once everyone and everything was focused on next gen. I still have my RGH and have maybe used it once or twice in the past 9 months. Just collects dust now

Last gen modding is definitely dead unless you use your RGH/JTAG/CFW to mess around by yourself or with friends. I feel once either the PS4 or Xbox One get exploited there will be a boost in the modding community here once again, or so I hope. May be 2, 3, 4, hell, maybe even 8. We'll just have to see what happens.
