Sorry guys I'm quite new and was hoping someone could answer.
When I am trying to download a profile it asks me for an 87mb update is it safe to do so?
I have a stealth and I have access to xbl but I need to download a profile to play on bo2 because it wont allow me to create one.

I had one of those where the avatar was greyed out this update happens when I try to play black ops mp it asks me to download or create an account when I click download it brings up the update required I thought avatar updates happen before you access the dashboard like I experienced?

You are safe to do the update.
The only time you are not supposed to update is when a new dashboard is released.

no problem, a lot of new rgh owners probably all.. have that same question.
If you get an update and you get worried, just make sure your console is on latest dashboard and then you are okay to do the update.
If we receive a dash update, then you will have to manually update your dashboard, which is a matter of taking your nanddump.bin/updflash.bin (your nand dump) , running it through the xebuild for the new dash, and installing back to console.. and then back at it you go. hope that makes some sense
