Please help - I'm currently trying to jailbreak my PS3. I'm just currently stuck on downgrading my console using redthetrainer.com nor writer.

There are 2 things that I need help with.

Which flash memory patch path do I use for the flash_482.hex?
Dev_usb000/flash_482.hex
Dev_usb001/flash_482.hex
Dev_usb006/flash_482.hex


Also, when I try to patch it, it just freezes.. I wait 10 minutes and then restart but just freezes once again?


(Things to know)
USB is 500mb of storage
I'm using a wired controller in left port
USB is in right port
I'm on OFW 4.82
I'm in CECHL03 & Have already checked if i can downgrade.

How are you supposed to do it over Skype? Also I don't want to pay so that wouldn't be much help. But any information that can help me would be appreciate!

I'm assuming you managed to figure this out? I took 3 hours helping a friend do this and it was the most stressful thing I've done in a while. Converting my PS3 to DEX back when not too many people knew how to was easier. I'm still surprised that the 4.82 OFW Exploit hasn't been hotfixed yet either.
