Since the PS4 was "Hacked" to play non-backward compatible games, will the PS4 ever be able to have home brew ect. in the future?

Would be actually pretty sweet. Could you imagine a modded lobby on WW2, Bo3, or Infinite Warfare?

The PS4 has been jailbroken for some time my dude as I remember people messing around with GTA5 campaign menus and other stuff. The only bad thing with that is the fact that no one has found a way to get online as you need to be on the latest firmware to connect to online. That and I guarantee there's some extra security in place to detect modded consoles. If I remember correctly it was version 1.76? Don't quote me on that though.

The PS4 is publicly jailbroken on firmware's 1.76 and 4.05. A "backup" loader recently came out for it. However don't expect mods in games as it requires the latest firmware. And even then I am doubtful of online mods due to most games moving to dedicated servers.

It is already jailbroken, but do not hold your breathe for online mods. Spoofing will not be around for awhile
