So my work pc recently cut out and I'm believing this is a power supply problem.

To back that up are, the system crashing almost on start up.
The fans not rotating at full speed.
Over heating.
And the most obvious to me being I can't restart it unless I unplug and plug back in the power cord in the back.

However recently using msi I overclocked it to kinda run a benchmark to see how my old gaming pc could run the games my new one does. I overclocked it but not majorly (I generally know what I'm doing) I must've set my GPU to high and it did crash however I've had this happen to me on multiple occasions and I fixed all those times, this is when the failing to boot began.

I'd noticed the fan not spinning well so I was thinking simple minded and went and picked up some duster and cleaned the living balls out of my PC.

MSI profile has been deleted and doesn't boot on my PC's start up so I don't see how this could've been the overclock.

In this PC I use a GT 640. I believe and I have a 6 core processor. I'm not to sure on all the parts I have in this as it was a pre-build which is why I only use it for photoshop, modding, and various other small work.

I know the psu comes from "xtreme gear" and the pc was purchased from "cyber power" both of which are absolute trash from reviews and have terrible crashing/overheating problems..

What I'd like to know is if you guys think this game is coming from my PSU or anything else.

If you believe you know what part is causing this or can help maybe even repair it please comment suggestions down below.

I'm looking for a new PSU anyways so link me one for under $100USD I am willing to pay more however.

I currently have a EVGA 850 watt power supply

and for my specs I have a i5-7500 and a evga gtx 1070 (superclocked edition) with 16gb of ram and I can run everything just fine no cutouts or black outs with the power supply. I'd like to say now that i'm no genius so that might be overkill or it might not be enough i'm just trying to help lol

You don't need to go overboard on a PSU for that PC.

Something as cheap as [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] will do it.

Else, check [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
