Should I ask my parents why they got divorced? I'm 20 now and they got divorced when I was 14. I never asked back then. Should I now? Lmk.

[my dad is completely out of the picture]

So asking, it could be my moms fault and it could be worse

I don't see why, i asked my mother why she doesn't see my dad anymore, and it was a interesting story, had a different outlook on my father though, couldn't respect him after that. We don't talk much after that.

Its not as easy as that. The only way I would as her would only be through text. I could not ask her through the phone. I don't live with her so its not like a face to face convo either.

I can't judge the relationship you have with your family man. It is that easy if you want it to be. Asking the reason for a divorce is not the end of the world. If she doesn't want to answer she can just say no, i don't want to tell you??
