Who in the hell thinks "stupider" is not a word? The phrase "more stupider" is definitely an incorrect one to use but "stupider" is definitely an acceptable word.
While "stupider" doesn't have a concrete definition, it is listed as a 'comparative adjective' and it is considered a real word. While most two syllable words would use "more", for example, "more beautiful"; you wouldn't say "beautifuller".
"More stupid" and "stupider" are two CORRECT ways of saying it.

Literally every time I say the word "stupider" some neckbeard tells me that stupider isn't a word because that's what their unintelligent teachers told them
