I rghed my slim and it booted and worked fine, now when it glitches it just has a red dot and glitch light stays on. Does anyone have any idea why?

UPDATE : now have the console striped down accept for heatsink and fan. the circuit board gets extremely hot but i dont see any visual cause such as bridging or damaged components. i am confused

I mean if you're getting a red dot on a slim, the console is probably done for. I had done a console one time and accidentally ripped a capacitor or resistor without even noticing and the console was giving me a red dot so I scrapped it. I recommend seeing if you can't flash the original nand back and removing the glitch chip and seeing what happens. (Note, wire placement can sometimes cause issues)

Simple as writing the wrong nand to the console from what his other post is
