Hey guys, I'm looking to have a console sent-in to be RGH or JTAG, I'm from Canada and don't want to spend a whole lot.

If no one could do a send-in. Can someone get me tutorials on how to JTAG a console yourself?

Easier and cheaper to send it in and have it done. I am in the US. I do them for a fair price

If you are interested in modding a 360 yourself

you will need

soldering equipment
a pc with jrunner or read/write nand tool of some sort.
a jrprogrammerv2 or nand-x
a console you want to mod
mod chip

you need to find out what motherboard the console is.

Here is an image to identify them.

Me personally, i use ace v3s on slims, and cool runner rev c's on falcon and jasper consoles.

Things to keep in mind,

some coronas require 4GB nand reader. if you have a corona 4gb you do not need a jrprogrammer v2 or a nand-x

you want to route your wires clear of any capacitors or stuff like that, as that could cause freezing.

steps when rgh'ing

solder nand wires (comes with jrpv2 or nand x)
read nand (make sure to take 2+ nand dumps and make sure they match, do not continue if they don't match)
create .ecc
write .ecc to console
write timing file to mod chip
install mod chip
now boot up to xell and grab cpu key, enter into program
once your here, you just create a 17511 image of your nand and write it to the console and you are done

jtag

if its a jtag console no chip is required so no timing files are required.

just 3 wires 2 diodes and the other stuff and you are good.

corona

if 4gb corona, more steps are required to read and write.. with your 4gb nand reader in order to read a 4gb nand a wire needs to be soldered to a oscillator crystal on the motherboard then disconnected when you boot the console.

in order to boot a corona with 4gb, you need to disconnect the wire connected to the crystal, then reconnect to write again.

coronas can sometimes require post fix adapters. and bridging of a few points on the motherboard.

If you are a DIY'er, its not difficult, there is a lot of info on the web to help people out as well.

Canada shipping via usps medium flat rate box is 45$ , if you want to send in to USA, your looking at 90$ USD off the top for shipping costs.

My sendin services are 50$ for falcons, jaspers, trinities and coronas and jtaggable consoles.

by the time you spend the money for tools and supplies i can have it done and shipped back to you for just the shipping cost it self and save you over $100 in supplies

According to your ebay listings, you been doing this for 25 years, but here since 2003. Your listings also say you sold over 800 on ebay and various other websites

The scary part is you are selling fully loaded rgh's on ebay with hundreds of games downloaded on them violating piracy copyright infringement on the highest scale. If you don't know, ebay will catch up to you and drop the hammer. To say that you don't sell software and you don't violate copyright laws is pretty sad, especially when you come across someone with knowledge

It is nice to do them yourself IF you have the equipment. If you dont, and are looking to only do one console, just send it in. I suggest you go with Rodent.
