A small earthquake of 4.4 magnitude has affected parts of Wales and south-west England today. Apparently this happens every 2-3 years but as nothing like this is frequent its quite surprising when it happens.
No damage or injuries was caused, although it shook a lot of buildings and people were said to hear a loud bang.
Anyone on TTG witness it happening?

Anyone on TTG witness it happening?
Steven Clathworthy, who lives near Bridgend, south Wales said he heard a bang the settee moved.
"All the neighbours were out asking 'what's happening?'" he said.
Bryan Jones, 72, of Treochy, Rhondda Cynon Taff, said: "It was like a tremor but it was quite frightening for my granddaughter - she swore a little bit and my wife got up asking 'What was that?'"
"It was just a split second. We can't see anything damaged."
In Cheltenham, Paul Samway said it felt like "a washing machine breaking down".
"We heard the walls crack and there was a bit of juddering," he added.
"We thought nothing of it until we saw reports from other people on social media."

Yep didn't actually hit where I was in UK but where I used to live 20 odd miles my brother had it bad and he said the plates were about to fall of the table. We got the back end from Mexico.

Wasn't a huge issue because no one felt anything from it being so small.

I bet that tickled there toes compared to ones in other countries. Earthquakes seem very scary, would never want to be around one. Small or big.
