They changed it, personally I think the zombies was awesome (other than the chainsaw geezer and that flame ****) it's quite difficult but challenging games feel more rewarding. Despite the fact they barely reward you for completion (ranks etc)

It was scary and interesting for about the first 8 times playing after that it got boring real quick. Doesn't even feel like cod zombies (i'm guessing that's what they were going for) But overall it was interesting but I quit ww2 a while back. So my opinion doesn't matter as much as others.

I definitely agree with you.

I myself didnt care for ww2 zombies mainly due to the crappy storyline tbh. Sledgehammer games' zombies were never really good because of this. But im sure we can all agree that Treyach has never let us down on giving us a awesome Zombie storyline. And they definitely went above and beyond on bo3 in my opinion. Bringing back many of the classic maps and having a great storyline on the bo3 main zombie maps before Chronicles is what made it my favorite zombies

Nothing will top BO2 Zombies. It stuck to the original Zombies idea of just killing Zombies and lasting as long as you can, without having to do a bunch of nonsense to just simply play the game.

Kino Der Toten, from Black Ops is the perfect example of how Zombies should be; simply stay alive as long as possibe, and there weren't any easter eggs to do other than the three rocks that turned on the song.

The new games have you doing so many things that people that don't play Zombies a lot get discouraged from playing because they don't know what they're doing. The maps on Blacks Ops 3 were pretty much just big easter eggs, and coming from someone that doesn't play too much zombies, I never took the time to care how to do them because they weren't fun. Even the first and free Zombies map on BO3, Shadows of Evil had you doing countless tasks that I had no idea what the hell was going on.

Black Ops 2 maps were a little more advanced than the original Black Ops but I could handle that. My favorite Zombies map of all time will always be Buried from Black Ops 2. Nothing will top it. It was simple, stay alive, but at the same time there were a few simple things you had to do. You had to find the keys and get Leeroy out of his cell, then use the candy to get him to knock down barriers. I was okay with that. That map was perfectly balanced. The maps and games nowadays just require too much and they've gone away from the idea of staying alive.

I don't care what anyone says I prefer WAW or BO1 Zombies over all the new cod zombies.

Cod4 & MW2 were the best multiplayer games imo as well.

It's hard to compare all the zombies as they're all great in there own little way, although hands down World at war was the best.
