I keep my home setup simple because I can get my fix at work and in public clouds.

yeah I work in IT, network server engineer. I have a small home network, nothing major because it isn't needed.

I have a terminal server for the parents business for their banking etc. Have a small business grade ASA 5505.

Does the job

Also, "Antivirus" is pretty self explanatory just by it's name itself, I don't think that's a good point to base your argument on. Besides, if a forum called theTECHgame didn't have any decent technology discussion, it wouldn't last long

I keep my home network setup relatively simple, for the simple fact I don't need anything better. But i too enjoy having a gander inside other people setups as some can be insane. The subreddit r00t linked is awesome to look through if you are interested in this ind of stuff.

Sure, I've seen maby a handfull of members here on The"Tech"Game helpted some people with some very basic stuff, but that doesn't make them "Tech" supportive or helpfull in any way, most of the topics in the Tech / PC section is very basic stuff that pretty much anyone could just google and get the answer directly instead. From whois lookups and other research and information gathering, The"Tech"Game was mostly active around 2010 ~ 2015 because of COD World at War and COD MW2 modded lobbies and people wanted mods... Not many people knew exactly how people was modding but they pretty much loved it and was willing to pay for it. Now, not so much... I think the only people that are still here are either very new members or very old members such as ex-modders and moderators and other people who helpted the site grow in some way.. and now they are just stuck here with over 1000+ posts, nothing to do and never really searched for any other forums... I know plently of websites that doesn't have "tech" in their titles but are still extremely informative in the advanced "tech" community and with lots classified leaks about new tech that isn't even public yet.

On topic, my home setup is fairly simple because I live out of an apartment therefore I'm limited in my options. Just the normal RJ45 lines running to my devices and WPA2-Enterprise for my wireless consoles.

Once I move into my own non-rental place I'll look into doing some upgrades for myself, but as of now it's sufficient.

I'm not here to bit*h around, and i never complained about your "home setup" I couldn't care any less about your "home network / security" or your limitations or anything else. I simply and only commented on this topic, just like you and then you started quoting my posts and i responded.
