KyloCrux wrote I can see your point but I honestly haven't seen any "half" done games released.

What are "half done" games to you? PUBG? The game that was originally for PC and then made for the Xbox to support it? That's the only game I can think of that requires "huge" updates (which aren't even that slow to update) and that's only because they're making it more compatible for the Xbox One.

I haven't purchased or played an Xbox One game that was "half done", game developers and companies have always been releasing updates to fix and/or improve their games.

How are videogame companies "money vultures" when these updates have no cost to you other than the time you spend letting the update download and install? You're only spending money on games if they have microtransactions, other than that; there's no way for you to spend money on a game, other than purchasing the game itself and any add-on content they release after a while (Zombie map packs, for example). These add-ons have been going on since Black Ops 1 days and they've ALWAYS had to be purchased, they're not anything new; the only difference now is that most games include microtransactions, that's all. "Pay2win" wasn't a thing back then, but it is now. Stop buying games that have these and you should be fine.

Let's talk about Halo: MCC

Game came out and that same day you had to download a 20gig update.. What for? The rushed it and put out an update to finish/fix something that they could have done if they took a little more time.

I understand about PUBG and that doesn't really count for this topic cuz they just moved it over from pc and then are fixing it and that's fine. But think of Halo MCC as a great example

Edit: And it doesn't matter if they are slow or not, the updates, some of them are just from the companies not finishing something.
