Fortnite fever has been quickly making its rounds ever since its free-to-play Battle Royale mode was released. There has been nothing but good things for the mode and has been an unimaginable success for Epic Games, and so there is no reason why the developers wouldn't be constantly looking for ways to keep the gameplay fresh by regularly adding timed-exclusive game types, and persistently striving to improve upon the game with a regular stream of updates.

Fortunately for the players, it seems that a new feature will soon be making its way to the game in the form of live recording and replays. This feature has been present in various other PvP games over the years and is a generally sought after feature, be it an average player wanting to capture an impressive play, or a full-fledged streamer wanting to piece together a quick and easy clip. Recently PUBG adopted a replay feature and, as you would expect, was met with open arms; and so it will for Fortnite.

The tools will include the capturing of in-game footage and editing whilst providing the player with a range of different camera angles and effects, as well as a DroneFree mode which will give the player free control of the camera itself. There will also be a social platform for players to share their content between the Fortnite community. Whilst there is no exact release date set for this feature, it will be a part of a summer update.

Seems like a cool addition, I know PC and Xbox natively (Xbox DVR and Nvidia/AMD gpu tools) support recording and replays but it seems like Fortnite's will have a larger scope in what you can edit or change.
Even though I don't like the game it seems like Epic is really killing it with their additions and listening to community feedback. If only other devs did the same

Curious to see if and how they'd port this to mobile since Epic said they'd be pushing all the same updates between all platforms lol
