Should work fine, I don't own one but their documentation shows support: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If it doesn't I found a reddit thread about a razer blade ubuntu workaround from when it was less compatible: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Yes, a windows 7 install will work fine as well. But since I'm assuming it came with Windows 10, why not stick with it?

Feel free to downgrade the OS but in the future (early 2020 I think?) Microsoft will drop support for 7 and then it would be a smart idea to reup to 10.

I don't notice much of a performance difference between 7 or 10 but 10 definitely feels snappier to me and boot times seem to have improved on my SSD. But everyone has their own taste in OS so if 7's your thing go for it.

Edit: Since your laptop shipped with Win 10 instead of upgrading from 7 to 10 you'll need to purchase a key for windows 7 and install it manually.
