High-schooler Matsuzaka Satou has a reputation for being easy, but one day her lifestyle of sleeping with one boy after another comes to an end. It happens when she meets the child Shio, for whom she is convinced she feels true love for the first time. Satou may seem sweet and innocent, but there is nothing she won't do to protect their life together, including committing murder. But from where did she acquire the little girl, and how long can their "Happy Sugar Life" together last?

The psychological horror manga Happy Sugar Life will be receiving an anime adaptation which will begin airing in July of this year as part of the summer season schedule. Unfortunately there has yet to be a PV released for the upcoming series, but it shouldn't be long; expect more information to be released around May.

From the description, it sounds like it will be an amusing series, I mean, who doesn't like a nice little yandere character who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty? Who knows, we may have another Gasai Yuno on our hands. I myself will be looking forward to the series as I am a fan of the comically deranged; what about you?
