General Information

Platform Releases: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One
Genre: FPS
Developer: Streum On Studio

Deathwing is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe and sees the player take on the roll of a librarian a part of the Space Marines' Dark Angels 1st Company armed with the Tactical Dreadnought armour to fight against an alien race on an interstellar vessel called a Space Hulk.
Whilst the original title was released on PC back in 2016, it is now finally making its way to consoles in the form of an Enhanced Edition which will also be available for free on PC to those who already own the game. That being said, there is uncertainty surrounding the Xbox One version of the game as there are conflicting dates displayed across several retailers. This upgrade is set to address a sum of issues experienced with the game's initial release and to provide a higher quality product. Below are the focal points that this edition will bring:
The trailer looks like the game is a cross between Gears of War and DOOM, and seems rather enjoyable; something you can casually play without getting too serious. The price isn't too bad either with it sitting at a reasonable $40.

NEW ENEMY TYPES
New, unique Genestealer types offer greater challenge to those who dare enter the depths of the Space Hulk.
SPECIAL MISSIONS
Randomized objectives and enemy spawns bring a new level of replayability.
