hey guys I'm almost in tears I got my jtag all updated and connected to a stealth server excited to use my mw2 mods. but I am having an issue where it loads the game for about 2 seconds then restarts, it is literally like the screen is blinking (when I press the dashboard it too is blinking). I have tried re installing a fresh copy of the game and it won't work. for some reason it feels like my console update ****ed it up? anybody heard of anything like this and how I may go about fixing it? I'm literally about to smash this thing I've been stuck for 6 hours, any help?

Update the game before installing a .xex

I have the most recent TU for it in my content folder and it still won't work.

Happens with me with 1 of my copies, I installed it through iso files and it works fine

I also have matrix and destruction so I can just play the game off the disc

Might be your install then. Try getting an ISO. Your disc might be scratched. How many GBs is your MW2 copy right now?

thought I should add the defaukt xex works but not default mp xex. I may have to do a drive swap so I can rip games? or download matrix and destruction? strangest thing is this game was working earlier before I updated.

7.55 gb I believe it's weird because it worked prior to updating the console.

Yeah your mods broke the game. Destruction and matrix are paid as well. What did you install?

the update was a dashboard update to 17511. even tried putting the game back on from my computer fresh and it still didn't work .I am trying to use rebellion live

I see. I do not use Rebellion so I would check to see if there is an off host menu on that server as that could mess up the game when using your own installed menu.
