General Information
Release Date: Summer 2018
Platform Releases: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One
Genre: MMORPG
Developer: Pearl Abyss
Publisher: Kakao Games
Black Desert Online is an open-world MMORPG set in a fantastical realm in the midst of conflict between two rivaling nations fighting for dominance. Originally released on PC in the middle of 2015, the game saw a staggered release schedule across regions, and so, after two and a half years, it had finally reached all regions.
During E3 2017 we were given the news that Black Desert Online would be making its way to consoles with it being a timed-exclusive for the Xbox One, meaning a PlayStation 4 release would come later. The expected time frame for the game to release for the Xbox is during the summer quarter of the year as long as everything goes as planned.
At the recent Game Developers Conference, Microsoft was hosting a demo for the game on the Xbox One X, and fortunately for us, the guys at [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] were allowed to record their gameplay.
