That's insane but you have to be careful with it. People do stupid shit like this all the time. That's why I just ignore them and go on my way.

Contact Steam Support for doxxing you and releasing your information to the public (have screenshots of those.) If you have any evidence that he was hacking -- not sure how well theater mode will help with that, send that their way as well to report of hacking in game. That way he gets a VAC ban, if not a flat out Steam account ban, sadly Steam doesn't hardware ban, is kinda easy to get around that for the most part anyways but would be an added insult to throw on that guy. If you feel worried in the real world about your IP, contact your ISP, explain the situation and ask them to change your IP, if they need more of a reason or proof send them the screenshots you have now, un-editited so they can see someone got your whole IP address. Of course if you want to go further, you could always get the police involved since you were threatened with a SWAT attack, and those were big headlines, at least in America at one point, plus you were doxx'ed and had your information displayed in public, which is illegal.

He cant do shit dont worry, if he has your I.P then he can get your ISP and a very rough location as to where you live not your actual adress.

Like chat said, he only looked up your IP address and got your home town, you can do that with any IP address, now if he told you your actual address thats when its a problem. You could always contact steam support and see if they can help. Also call your isp and see about changing your IP address.

It sucks that this is happening so frequently nowadays, i cant even use Xbox's Looking for Group because you have people going around joining peoples parties just to ddos them.

I even had a guy who hit me offline because my W/L ratio was bad on 2k18. the fact that i can't get any proof frustrates me.

I see he posted your IP, but that doesn't mean he has your address. It's simple enough to do an IP trace on the internet, as there are plenty of free websites that will do it. They can give you city, but not specifics.

You stated he did give out your info, though. So I suggest playing your games through a VPN from now on. They'll trace an IP half way around the world from you.
