You ever had those days/weeks where you just don't feel like doing JACK. For the past week or 2 I just haven't been in the mood to watch any anime or play any games. Well, to be more specific, I watch some stuff and play some stuff but I just can't get invested in them, ya know? I stop watching/playing them after only a couple minutes. I guess the best term for it would be apathetic? I've been trying to break out of this rut for awhile now but I just can't motivate myself. Hopefully with these new shows coming out in April I'll break free. In any case, just felt like sharing/asking/rambling. Thanks for reading.

This is a great thing.

In reality, it happens to everyone. I'd recommend finding new hobbies to try and invest in, best case scenario you're just burnt out on what you love. Take a break from it for a while. Don't force yourself to do something you don't currently enjoy, believe me, you'll end up hating it.

It's been years since I've been able to sit down and play any video game for more than an hour without wanting to drill my eyes out of boredom. I took up other hobbies and interest, and it's been great.

Sounds like you're falling into a cycle of depression. Many things like low testosterone or lack of ambitions could be causing this . I'd recommend getting off the TV and electronics and go outside

...little bit dramatic with that comment, I wouldn't jump to depression just because he doesn't feel like watching anime.

Like wponx said, you need to just change things up a bit. Dont force something upon yourself unless you're in the mood for it.

Alot of people feel the same way. Where you don't feel like doing nothing at all. Change up your hobbies , invest in something different. Look at the stock market etc.

I've been feeling this way for the past couple of days. Don't want to do my college work, don't want to game, don't want to go to my job, I honestly don't want to do anything except lay on my bed and sleep all the time.

I don't know, might just be me being dramatic.

Not really, honestly. Everyone has these kinds of days, and everyone experiences depression. That doesn't mean you're over the edge depressed and want to die, you just don't have the will to do anything.

These days, as humans in a 1st world country, it's easy to find ourselves bored. Nothing really challenges us, because we stay in a comfort zone that we build around ourselves.

As others have suggested, best to step away from games/tv/etc and go outside. Pick up a $20 fishing pole and go fish a bit, maybe go to the park and shoot some hoops with friends, etc.

If you let one or two weeks effect you, years will go by and you'll realize you never changed it. Best to avoid that
