This will be my first time getting a PC i currently use a gaming laptop, i have no clue what im better off with i kinda want a gtx 1080 ? because good fps ? noob at this stuff any help would be appreciated heres what i have below. budget £1500 but cheaper the better

The soundcard can be dropped tbh unless your going analog with your headset. Ive used both analog and USB never really noticed a difference but when i used analog i used onboard sound so. And as for GPU what resolution do you want honestly i look at it like this
1060=1080p high 60fps give or take some
1070=1080p 120fps+ 1440p 60fps+(this is the gpu i use at 1080p and have used it for 1440p)
1080=4K high 30fps or low-med 60fps
1080TIs SLI= 4k maxed 60fps


As i said though i only have the 1070 and really have only bought the 70s of the cards from NVIDIA so 770,970, and 1070. I made those accusations off watching GPU performance videos. I left out the 1050 and 1050ti honestly because i dont think there that good of a GPU and if you could i would get a 970 over 1050.
