Around half my friends are muted, and i haven't even muted them?

When i'm in a party with them, i click unmute and nothing happens, but when i click on there profile, it says there not muted??

just do a hard reset. hold xbox button on console for 30 seconds and let it sit a minute then turn on. This literally fixes any issue lmao

Same thing happens to me. Only happened with one friend though, although I can still hear them. If I go to my messages it says they're muted but they're not

or sign out then back in ....

Remove that friend and re add....

Reset network...

Try using mic without adapter if your remote has the 3.55 mm slot....

Im thinking of everything I can...

Could even be on xbox live tbh check the network and see if everything is running smooth.
