They get mad if you take longer then 5 minutes. We don't just throw them in the box we have to but them in nicely. Also have you ever had a customer who just wants to argue. My Manger called 911 once because this guy tried to hit my freind because we didn't have a donut he wanted. My freind didn't fight back because he had a fighting charge in the least 3 months and didn't want to get taken in.

Dude I work at a sports bar/restaurant, drunk people want to fight and argue all the time. Some old guy kept flipping me off and telling me "F you" because he was waiting on his pizza for too long, his pizza he never ordered.

But I bet the customer was like crew this place I should go somewhere else

I work in a restaurant, and when we're busy around lunch or dinner time, it gets stressful for some of the younger employees for new employees, so to lighten the mood my friend and I will just start singing songs loud as hell, and the kitchen isn't blocked off from the rest of the restaurant except for a partial wall, so customers can hear everything we're singing and saying.

Certain songs get some pretty good reactions out of customers, some don't want to hear what we're singing, but I or the other managers don't care. If you're getting the job done, as long as you're not continually swearing it's a fun time.

As for the calling orders in, I get that too. Just today, some guy came in, and he's wearing a construction vest. As soon as I see him I know he just came from working on a bridge right up the road, and he's either going to order a lot of food to take back to the rest of his crew, or his crew is right behind him about to come in, either way we're about to get a lot of food. The guy ends up ordering 20 bacon cheeseburgers and 20 fries. When someone orders that much shit, it takes up all the room in the kitchen to prepare all of it, so all the other orders have to be put aside and waited on starting, because this dude decided he couldn't call his order in, and have it ready when he gets there.

I just started my first day at fast food today, working at a local McDonald's. The staff blows but it's whatever not really anyone certains fault just terrible communication and one of the managers is hardly 18 lol.

I can say I'm ready but not ready for this to happen to me, I get that sometimes it's a on the spot or quick decision but if they get angry I mean cmon now. The store I work at doesn't have a big kitchen 2 people on grill and 1-2 on frys were just understaffed and cluttered for where our store is at. I mean no huge orders came in today but at 2 a f ton of people rolled in and it was heated on my first day.

Just hope to know the crew and maybe funny things like this will be able to loosen me up and enlighten me on working what isn't a great job in my opinion aha!
