1. Don't go to Tilted Towers unless you have go the hang of building and out playing people.
2. Don't land on roofs, just incase there is no chest and you have to make your way into a building with someone else in it.
3. Practice building walls and 1 by 1's.
4. Increase Sensitivity to help building and turning on people.
5. Don't be afraid to push, if they are constantly shooting and they stop for a second, build up above them by using ramps.
6. Try get the higher ground on people, that's how you kill people.

I'd recommend going to a less populated area of the map and farm some materials and practice building. I'd recommend using the pyramid and editing the front 2 tiles, It makes for a faster wall / ramp combo build. It's also worth noting that the X & Y sensitivites are mainly for looking around and building, the ADS and Scoped sensitivies control your guns.

Wonderwall wrote My last tip is just enjoy the game! Play it, give it a few weeks, if your not feeling it, there's no use in still trying, some games just aren't for some people!
A few weeks? Give it hours on end week after week and keep up the grind. You'll see changes, trust me.

I was talking about his enjoyment of the game, it doesn't take long to figure out if you don't like a game. If you play it and your like "woah this is bad" and then continue to play it for a few weeks 1 of 2 things will happen, you will either continue to say "woah this is bad" or you will develop a drive for the game, a want/ need to tier up, attempting all the challenges, getting super competitive and annoyed when you lose a really good fight...
