Welp, as of 13 days ago, I became a member of the 9 Year club.
It's safe to say that, throughout my time here, I've met a lot of range of diverse and wonderful members, experienced my fair share of modded lobbies on games such as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, Black Ops, World at War, and so on. These are memories that I still cherish to this day. Let's face it... I'm out of my teenage years and work five to six days a week, so gone are the days when I would be coming home from school and spending hours on end multitasking between my laptop and my Xbox, responding to topics on TheTechGame whilst waiting for the next game of Call of Duty to start.
It doesn't just end with Call of Duty; I've made a lot of memories of Grand Theft Auto here, done a touch of graphic design and ran a few graphic shops with some other members, played Halo 3 and Reach Custom Games with other members, took park in Minecraft Survival games, GTA V car meets etc. Heck, I even had my own YouTube channel at one stage and edited/uploaded videos. Where did I find the time for all of this?
Props to Sean, first and foremost, for being the founder of the friendliest community I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. That doesn't go without saying a thank you to whomever is doing the development/behind-the-scenes work for TheTechGame, as well as the current and former staff members. Oh, and a shout-out has to be given for the members who are regularly visiting and/or posting on TheTechGame to this day - the place wouldn't be the same without ya.
Although I'm not very active these days... and half of the time I completely forget that I have a laptop with access to TheTechGame because all I do is work, drive and watch movies these days... I'll try my best to pay visits to the community more often.
Thanks all. Here's to another year!
Congrats you old oat, welcome to The Office Game which I'd assume a lot of us are in now.
