After Bioshock Infinite many thought that 2K Games would be done with the Bioshock franchise. It was the third entry in the franchise and the trilogy is the sweet spot. This would remain true if this was the PS2/Gamecube era, but it's not. These days publishers are not running the risk of losing it all! So it shouldn't shock you to hear that another Bioshock game could be in the works.

I enjoyed Mafia 3, but it didn't do well sales-wise. Evolve was a colossal flop a few years back as well. NBA 2K seems like the only thing that brings in the big bucks these days for 2K Games. After Mafia 3 didn't perform well many from Hangar 13 are trying to move over to this new "Parkside" studio, but not many have succeeded.
