It will neither release on 4-30-18 or 5-1-18. That is when Season 3 end so it will most likely come out then.

They tweeted on twitter " It'll be out tomorrow " and on the count down in game it's 14 hours now < it was around 14 hours 30mins >

which would mean downtime at around 7 - 8:30AM my time, which is when updates are always dropped/

Battle Pass tab on Fortnite:
"Season Ends: 14:17:45"
As of right now. Downtime will probably be at around 3 AM (my time), it's 1:12 P.M. where I live.
