Because of the gpu and cpu price increase over the past few months what are good yet affordable gpus and cpu's for a gaming pc?

It depends on your budget and what you consider affordable. The GTX 1050 and Intel i5 processors are reasonably priced. You'd probably get both of them for less than £400.

I mean, processors aren't terrible.

GPUs and RAM, yeah they are just god awful.

Depends on your budget and the games you want to run. When I first started PC gaming, I had a GTX 970. Now that I play more intensive games and graphics and run more mods, I have upgraded to the ASUS Strix GTX 1070, but that's just my choice and budget, you may not need a GPU near as powerful. Another cheap CPU I once had was the i5 4690k, it was quiet powerful.

GTX 1050 is solid.
I have one and I can play games like Fortnite, PUBG, & Rocket League at max settings without any issues.

personally i have an i5 3470 and a r9 290x i can handle most games fine
