Ethernet Connection issues

i have my mac linked to my xbox one and as of recently it doesnt work. i get the error message cannot connect to your DHCP server. Never had this issue before, how do i fix this.

Are you running a VPN? are you Bridging or Sharing the connection?

How are you sharing? Right Click Wifi, Properties, Share to Ethernet?

Yes, i am already doing that
Stop Sharing, then re share maybe that'll fix it, I have a similar issue unless I redo the steps each time.
