Today I had to bring my laptop to this Local Computer Repair shop to help me fix my Bios I screwed up lol... Anyways, the owner of the shop told me to get 360 Total Security. She had really good things to say about it. So when I got home, I downloaded it and it seems pretty cool... I mean nothing special other than a shit load of features packed into one program. What is your opinion about 360 TS? What I usually run for Protection on my Computer is just Windows Defender and Malwarebytes which has done me just fine. Before having Malwarebytes I had nothing for about 3 years and my computer was just fine. Anyways, is 360 TS a good program? Do you use it?

Thanks, yeah it seems like a pretty neat tool. It just saves a lot of time. It did find a bunch of startup programs windows was hiding and I had no interest in running which was awesome.

Windows comes with antivirus and all the "optimization" tools you need. You can use a third party tool if it makes you feel good, but it won't provide any value.

I don't believe in 'optimisation tools', I believe they exist...

Nothing wrong with having a 3rd party application look after your AV. I resell ESET Antivirus and it's spot on.

Everyone has their own opinion on software. Windows Defender is more than efficient

True, windows does have most features that are in 360 TS but 360 TS makes it a lot quicker and easier to do most of those tasks. Also, my computer when I went to start up programs I only had 4 because I just restored my pc. When I looked at the startups in 360 TS I had over 20 because windows 10 hides a lot of stuff from users. Also, the AV in windows is decent but 360 TS's AV has a lot more features. 360 TS does something that would take quite some time to do with one click. Trust me I am the same way with programs like this, I never download them, but this seems pretty lightweight and very effective.

I've used it previously. I had a bit of issues with it as it falsely detected a lot of .exe programs as a virus. No issues personally other than that.
