Hi hoping someone can help, i tried using suggestions on google still no luck. Basically im having a problem where my wifi just stops working on my computer, then i have to disconnect and reconnect for it to work, then 5 minutes later it does the same thing, im using wirless router connection and the problem is only for my computer, everything else is fine. Maybe someone has a solution? Thanks

How far away is the router to your PC. If it's not in line of sight, move it so it is and see if that works.
You might be just about in range to connect but not enough to keep it stable under load.

What operating system are you running? Sounds like a DNS issue in my opinion.

Mine was doing the same just with my phone instead.
I rang up my isp and they "split" my WiFi or something now it works fine. I'd personally ring them for an answer

Maybe it could be your WiFi adapter? Is it internal or external?

See i would call comcast/xfinity up. But every time i have a problem they tell me restart my router, then they say they are going to get a technician to come see the problem, and every time they asked if i needed a technician i said no and fixed the problem on my own. And most likely they are going to say it is something with my computer because this only affects my computer.

First thing I'd do is check for driver updates and if issues still persist, I would uninstall the driver from device manager, restart and then test.
Do you have any other device next to your PC that could disturb the signal between the PC and router such as metal cabling surrounding the antennas? Do any other devices drop from the wireless?

All drivers are up to date, and it is my computer only.
