Have £1100 to spend.
Will be mostly a gaming pc but also used for everyday tasks
Need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Want it to run heavy games like Arma and such!
Thank you

Any other examples of games you'll be playing?
Will you overclock?
Any preferences(storage, aesthetic, brands, etc)?
Any kb/mouse preferences, preferred keyboard switch type, ten-keyless or full size?
Any preferences monitor wise, like high refresh rate, high resolution, ultrawide?

Fortnite, CSGO, mostly popular games.
No.
No preferences as I'm new to this and don't have much experience.
Cheap keyboard and mouse will do for now, will upgrade in the future,
24inch 144hz monitor please

Included a nice, good quality kb+mouse with RGB LEDs. MX Red switches on the keyboard. You can use the extra £100 or so to swap the i5-8400 for an i7-8700, or put it towards some extra cash to up the GTX 1060 to a GTX 1070;

Otherwise, you can keep the i5 and GTX 1060 6GB but spend the extra £100 to get 16GB RAM instead of 8GB, and a larger SSD.

If you're open to buying used parts, you can find used GTX 980Ti's for £250-275 pretty easily and a 980Ti would perform on par with a GTX 1070, so that might be a solid option. Only if you're comfortable buying used though.
Scratch that, looks like they're £300-325 for a used 980Ti now. Still might be a good option if you're comfortable buying used though.
If you get a used 980Ti for £300, it would allow you to get the i5-8400 and either up to 16GB RAM or get a larger SSD.
