Probably not the best place to ask tbh. I'd recommend a community like Spiceworks if you're looking for engagement.

That said, we run Veeam and haven't had an issue with it over the couple of years that we've had it. We've never had to do a proper DR scenario but we do have regular file // folder recoveries. It's super easy to use IMO and actually works.

Acronis is a good option. However, corporations utilize different software. I know our backups were managed by just replicating data via RAID storage and then transferring it to another server for backups. TONS of redundancy.

Onsite backups is dying out, offsite backups is the way to go. You have to take a lot of things into consideration such as bandwidth, line speeds, LAN/WAN security etc...

The future is the cloud, Acronis is a great shout however I wouldn't look at it if your internet is poor.

I have used Veeam Backup & Replication at most of the companies I have worked for, never had issues with it. Easy GUI, got quite a lot of stuff to play around with to set it up for your infastructure.

But yeah, TTG is probably not the best place to ask, try something like Spiceworks Community.

Try it and see if it does what you need. You can use the PowerShell snap-in to schedule VeeamZip backups with the free trial of B&R.
