Unfortunately, buying a laptop that you want to game on is rather hard. You need to pick and choose the right laptop for you and know what specs to look out for.
Do you have a budget so we can guide you in the right direction?
Also, these questions will help us -
What games do you want to play
Whats more important, FPS or how the laptop looks and feels
Anything else that you'd want to do on the laptop??

I would like to play PUBG and call of duty.
I would like to have something I could take anywhere. screen size does not matter to me.
I would like to keep it under $3,000.00 but the cheaper the better.

Under 3k and a VERY good system spec wise.

I agree that this laptop boasts some great components, but the lifetime of this computer might not be where you want it. I'm just looking down reviews and the battery seems like it's not able to hold this work load. It's expected with I7 and a GTX 1080 among other things. My honest answer is that investing that much money into a laptop is a hard pill for me to swallow, but if you're gonna do it make sure you get something that's easy to work with.

With that being said, the link I put above is to a laptop with pretty similar specs..BUT with this one your ram will be upgraded, the processor speed is bits above the previously mentioned laptop at just manufacture's standard.
You also probably won't need a 6 core processor, as a four core will probably do you better with gaming since you just want to game and use it for everyday purposes. Finally overclocking with this laptop seems to be quite simple for gaming needs, so that was just a positive on top of all the specs.
I hope I informed you a little more with your laptop search, although I will say this one last time. Gaming laptops do not have the best lifetime because of part replacement not being an easy task among others, I genuinely would suggest building a PC from scratch instead of sinking 3 grand into a laptop.
With what ever you do, good luck!
