do other mics work in the same jack? do you have other mic jacks to try it in? do you need/have the drivers for the headset?

is the recording setting set too low such that it doesnt show it as working?

You don't have the robot voice over enabled within the driver have you?

I used to have a Logitech G930 and within the program that you could download various voices and one of them was a robot. Check you haven't got this enabled!

Alternatively, reach out to Logitech support with it being a new headset.

Have you tried downloading the Logitech Gaming Software found [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ? I had issues with a webcam once through Logitech, had all the drivers installed, had it setup correctly, but it still wouldn't work. So, I messaged their support email and got a response back telling me to install the GS and when I did, sure enough it fixed the issue and I have had zero issues out of it since.

use the LGS as mentioned above crank it to 100% sensitivity. That is the major issue with G series mics.
