I'm sure you have all heard and seen this by now. But, which do you hear? I was seeing a majority of Twitter users saying they heard, "Laurel". But a lot of my friends say they hear "Yanny". I definitely think the majority is in favor of "Laurel", but how about you?

If you don't know what this is; it is an audio clip of a "AI-sounding" voice, saying one word. Just like the Black & Blue // White & Gold dress from a few years ago, the Internet in complete disagreement.

So please, tell me what you hear:

I hear yanny.

My girlfriend told me it has something to do with the pinch of frequencies one can hear.

That's correct, you can manipulate the original audio and hear both. I'm just curious as to what people hear, on the original un-edited audio clip.

I hear Laurel.
I honestly have no idea how anyone can hear Yanny from this. I've tried saying Yanny aloud while listening to it, but it just does not match at all, not even the slightest.

I am hearing laurel.

Edit: just had my mom and sister listen to it at the exact same time as me literally and they say they hear yanny so idk this is really odd.
