Putting in a new Windows key will not delete your files at all or even make you reinstall the OS. It's simply activating a key and the key allowing you to have access to a bought OS features. Now if you're buying an actual CD, formatting your SSD or HDD (whichever has the original OS installed on) then you will lose that drive data. But a key won't do anything to your files , you'll be good to go.

However, I would try and contact Microsoft about the issue with your key. I have never heard of a pre-built PC from a store having a faulty/stolen CD key. They've come with OEMs preinstalled on there, but I've only heard of those being legit copies from Microsoft, not some stolen ones. I do know Microsoft did a crack down on stolen OS keys, few of my backup PCs lost their Windows 10 OS and I bought those from like G2A and Kinguin. Not sure what Microsoft can do, but you bought a full PC which was claiming to be a genuine Windows key on it and the shop isn't helping now that it's been revoked.

I was told buy a guy in a "computer repair" store that my windows version is for a company if that means anything, Im not really sure, but thank you so much for your responce

One more thing sorry, would you recommenced I get a key off G2A then or do you know where i can get a legit safe cheaper key? As I do want to keep all of my files

G2A and Kinguin both sell them. I have bought maybe 10 keys from Kinguin and 3 from G2A. 2 from G2A recently got revoked and only 1 so far has been revoked from Kinguin. Microsoft is/was doing a crackdown on keys that are stolen so buying online from those sites, you are always risking that you might get a bad key or one that is triggered down the line. If you do decide to buy from any of those sites, it might be worth putting the few extra dollars into getting the protection, that way if the key is faulty in any way, you can simply contact support and they'll either give you your money back or get you a new key.

if its enterprise it doesnt matter any version is for a company or user enterprise is more for companies though, but people who work at repair stores arent the smartest people, but all versions of windows does the same, if its windows 10 with the recent update its bound to say you arent running a legit version of windows please put a key in which this April update is buggy, i would say get a new key off g2a or kinguin

I personally never buy Windows keys as I always activate Windows via other means, but I watch Science Studio all the time on YouTube and respect his opinion and word on a large number of varying topics and he recently put out a video that says you can use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] website to get Windows keys for as low as $12 USD. You can check them out if you are feeling adventurous. I will also link his video on them below if you want to watch it and hear what he has to say about them.
