For me, it was Halo 3. I discovered Xbox LIVE in the summer of 2009 and played so many custom games. It was amazing because nearly everyone used their mics and the lobbies would fill up so fast, you'd had to be lucky enough to get in one.

Will forever and always cherish the memories I made on that game.
I still talk to loads of friends I made almost 10 years ago from that game.
I fell in love with video games and esports because of that game.
Halo 3 will always be my favorite game of all time. I still get on every now and then, or I hop on MCC. I just hate that it will never, ever be the same.
From a topic about my favorite game, but I consider Halo 3 a childhood game
Besides that, I'd have to go with Pokmon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Otherwise known as the Hoenn region games/generation 3.
