Tonight the Capitals won game 7 against the Lightning which is sending the Caps to the Stanley Cup finals where they will play against the Las Vegas Golden Knights! This is the first time Alex Ovechkin has made it to the finals and also the first time the Knights have made it (since this is their first season as a team). So this years Stanley cup finals match up will make history with whoever wins!

I'm hoping the Knights win even though they knocked out the sharks. Would be cool to see a brand new team with the cup their first season

They looked like they were done at one point when they lost those three games in a row. Should be an interesting series but I think the Golden Knight are just on another level right now. Think the Capitals best chance to win is to play like they played those last two games, very physical.

I really hope Vegas wins. It'd be nice to shut people up who think Vegas sucks. With the way the Capitals have been playing lately (the whole playoffs), this may be a quick series. Vegas has only lost 3 games while Washington has lost 7.

I had the Bolts and Knights in the finals so this pissed me off a little but Vegas will win.

Like Lost said, Vegas is on another level right now.
