If its heavy rain then no, but light rain it will be fine as i haven't experienced any problems in the rain with them so far.

I work in a restaurant in the evenings and I'm the main dishes person. I wear these and so far they've held up better to the moisture than I expected them to, even some hard splash back. If you're concerned about the whole AirPods container itself there's a waterproof case called a Catalyst that works EXTREMELY well.

That's actually a very good idea. My headphone cords are always getting hit by my apron and yanking out of my ears. Good to know they won't be getting water damaged at work if I end up getting a pair!

As long as you're not like jumping into pools with them, little splashes or some rain wont hurt them if they are in your ears. i've had no trouble with mine yet at all. If you're planning on buying some it could be worth waiting a few months for the new ones that will be waterproof/water-resistant.
