It's very good to watch. I have to admit though the first time I watched it , I was a bit shocked. There is alot of glore and S*x scenes in it. Your best bet is to look at some trailers for it. Took me like 2-3 Episode's then becomes an addiction.

It only took me a few episodes but i think by the end of the first season you should be hooked. It is something that people really need to give a chance, there is a lot that goes on so it takes time.

I have not seen one episode of GOT yet.
I always say I will give it a watch but tend to forget and because where something else catches my attention.

There are currently 7 seasons with ~10 episodes per season, each one is 1 hour long. Most people say that the first season is the hardest one to watch, because they introduce so many different characters and it's hard to keep up.

Once you get to the second season though people are usually hooked and can't stop watching.
