It depends where you are located, BT in my area are the fastest. They are pricey but have been very reliable.

Virgin if it's aavailable, hands down.
Otherwise, Sky and BT are the easiest to deal with IMO but aren't great for pricing.

I've tried BT, Sky and Virgin and all of them were bad in my area, I switched to Vodafone broadband as they promised certain speeds for my area.
I've been with them for about a month now and I haven't had any problems so far.

Personally, I've found Virgin to be one of the better providers out there; even at peak times my download has only gone down to 80-90 and its stuck at around 7 up. I'd also say stay away from Sky and BT, as I've had bad experiences with them both in the past regarding speed to cost. Vodafone is mean't to be pretty good too. You can use sites like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to find the best speeds in your area, then check with the providers to confirm they work in your area etc. Hope this helps.

I live in Hertfordshire UK and get 250+mbps Download speed, and 20+mbps upload speed with Virgin Media, but costs me £48 a month which is expensive asf lol.

This is what I get with Virgin Media and drops to around 150 Down 12 UP
During peak hours. I've never had any disconnect issues and have Powerline adapaters fitted around the house so most of my devices run at near enough full speed.
This test was with my iPhone
