Have'nt seen any of these, link me some trailers please?

Trailers are misleading, and the trailers for these three films in particular were pretty bad.
But here is a scene from each movie with no spoilers which highlights everything good about the film:

Blade Runner 2049 - Atmosphere, worldbuilding and soundtrack

Drive - Precision film-making and a great story (One of the best car chases put to film and the camera never leaves the car.)

Sicario - Tension, tension, tension. This movie builds tension like New Yorkers build skyscrapers.

Essentially in this scene, a group of US Marshals, Navy Seals, and CIA Agents are driving through the US Mexico border and into Juarez to collect and bring back a high value target being housed at the Juarez police headquarters. The problem is that Juarez is almost entirely controlled by drug cartels and is the most violent city in Mexico.

Even before this scene begins the tension for this scene is built by the sheer fact that they are bringing a group of US Navy Seals along for the ride, they are all informed and we are constantly reminded by the characters that "if there is going to be an attack, it will be by the border on the return journey."

It's just a masterful piece of storytelling and film making which I think everyone should see.
