13 wrote It could very well be the PSU, since we don't know what PSU you have. Your SSD is working anyway, so carry over your current storage and if you still have problems with the 1TB HDD on a new system, replace the HDD.

Can you tell us the make and model of your current case and PSU please. These aren't going to be worth selling probably, so I'd like to see whether they're for the bin, or worth re-using to save you some money or let you get better parts elsewhere within your budget.

Will you just be gaming? No editing/rendering/music production, etc? What kind of games will you be playing?

I really dont want to re-use my case tbh, it's only like $50 for this one that I liked so im thinking that one.

Just gaming, will be playing all the newest games on steam and current, I play everything.

Maybe... just maybe a tiny bit of streaming here and there probably not though.

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($178.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($19.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($70.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($81.83 @ Amazon)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($280.80 @ Newegg)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $742.58

I'd be buying that 8GB RX 580 like right this minute FYI, $280 for an 8GB RX 580 is a god damn steal and I don't think that promo will last. If you get this system, re-use your current HDD and SSD and then sell your current CPU/Mobo/RAM as a bundle, and even include the GPU if you can. You should be able to get $175-180 for those 4 parts.

Another suggestion I have though, is to re-use your current case. Just for now. If you do that, you can go with this;

Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($280.80 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $702.59
(better PSU) and maybe even up to 16GB RAM. Then once you've sold your old CPU/Mobo/RAM and GPU, you can upgrade to a nice mid range case, something in the $100 range, instead of a more budget oriented $40-60 case. That said, switching a system from one case to another can be a huge hassle.
