Matthew- wrote Nintendo has killed it once again though, but as most of you do, Super smash is probably my first choice on Nintendo.

Absolutely, this year is HUGE for them and I'm so glad for Nintendo. That Wii U really put Nintendo in a scary situation and the Switch has just been pumping on. Seriously wish Iwata was still around to see the success of the Switch and what's been brought to it. Smash bros alone just keeps on giving as the Stream goes on and on.

I wonder what would have happened to Nintendo without the release of the Switch

Who knows!
I know for a fact they'd make a killing if they allowed cross platform with certain games.

I really believe if the Switch flopped like the Wii U did, Nintendo would be almost or straight up forced into what Sega did and that's make games for other platforms. Thankfully the 3DS has been doing very well since launch but if that Switch flopped, Nintendo would have been very hard pressed to move on console wise.
